Frequently Asked Questions from Brokers with Programs 

How long does it take to implement Modular Solutions?  

Implementation timelines vary based on your brokerage’s requirements and the complexity and number of programs or products. We typically have a shorter implementation timeline than legacy platforms or building your own software in-house.  

Can Modular Solutions integrate with our existing systems?  

We offer robust API connectivity as well as a number of pre-built integrations through our Solutions Exchange. We provide support for custom API integrations. It will depend on the availability of API documentation and general API capabilities whether or not we will be able to connect to your existing systems. 

Is Modular Solutions suitable for brokers managing multiple programs or lines of business? 

Absolutely! Our platform is built to support complex programs and multiple lines of business.  

What kind of support do you offer post-implementation? 

Following go-live, the support desk is immediately available, and we have several weeks of post-launch meetings to check in.   

We pride ourselves on our response time to tickets. Once a ticket is submitted, it is generally seen and triaged within 10 to 60 minutes. It is categorized and assigned to an appropriate team member. For platform-critical issues, we offer emergency, urgent support to ensure timely response and mitigation.  

Resolutions times vary depending on the urgency and complexity of the problem. We work to resolve tickets between 1 and 48 hours. If a ticket is deemed complex (requires significant investigation or effort to resolve) the ticket may be closed and pulled out and put into our development workflow. In this case, the ticket would take longer than 48 hours to fix but this only applies to change requests and issues that do not affect critical functionality. In any case, our team remains in constant communication with the client, providing updates on progress.    

Every three weeks, clients receive detailed release notes ahead of each production deployment. Each release is confirmed upon deployment. To support user adoption and transparency, we provide comprehensive release documentation, including FAQs and help videos. 

In addition to the included training, we can provide extra sessions as required. We also have a resource library with documentation and training videos. Both are updated regularly.
