Release Radar: What’s New in the Modular Solutions Platform July 2026
Welcome to our monthly roundup of new features released for the Modular Solutions platform that were released in July 2026. With a fast-paced three-week development cycle, we’re constantly innovating to bring next-level technology to our clients. (You can find the June 2026 Release Notes here.)
Here’s what was released to the Modular Solutions platform in July 2026:
Admin Module
Send Policy Emails Directly to Your Broker Contact
You can now configure email templates to also reach the specific broker employee handling a policy, alongside the insured and brokerage. To use it, assign a broker contact (with a work email on file) to the policy and enable the option on your email templates. No changes required if you don’t use this option.
Finance Module
Clearer Visibility into Admin Fees on AP Reconciliation
You can now see admin fees broken out separately on your AP reconciliation, in a new “Total Fees” column between Premium and Payable Amount. The former “Total” column has been renamed “Payable Amount” for added clarity. No changes required on your end — these updates appear automatically the next time you open a reconciliation.
Claim Reserve Corresponding Financial Journal Entries
When a claim reserve is created or adjusted, the system now automatically generates the corresponding financial journal entries — eliminating the need for manual bookkeeping. Any updates to a reserve amount are also captured accurately, with entries reflecting only the change. Each journal entry is linked directly to its originating claim reserve for full traceability. Submit a support ticket if you require your bookkeeping onboarding file updated new accounts and bookkeeping rules.
Reconcile Related Brokerage Accounts Together
You can now select more than one account when starting an AP brokerage or reinsurer reconciliation, so related payables — like a broker’s fee and commission payable — can be reconciled and settled together in a single payment instead of two separate reconciliations. No changes required on your end; selecting a single account still works exactly as it did before.
A/R Reconciliation Screen
The A/R reconciliation screen has been significantly upgraded to give finance and A/R teams more control, flexibility, and clarity when working through transactions. You can now customize your view using a column picker that includes eight additional fields:
- Broker Code
- Broker Office
- Brokerage
- Primary Named Insured
- Transaction Effective Date
- Policy Number
- Alternate Policy Number
- Legacy Policy Number
A keyword search bar lets you filter the grid in real time, and a rows-per-page control (10, 25, 50, 100, or All) means you can work through transactions at whatever scale suits the task. Additional improvements include alternating row shading for easier reading, a more stable table experience that no longer jumps or resets after you take action on a row.
Reconciliation Table Usability Improvements
We’ve made a few refinements to the accounts reconciliation table to make it easier to work with, including improved row selection and menu organization, plus the ability to filter by column. No changes required on your end.
Multiple Selection & Apply Bulk Actions
You can now select multiple transactions at once in the Accounts Receivable In Progress screen and apply bulk actions in a single step. A “Select All” option is also available to quickly grab every row at once. All bulk actions are now accessible from the three-dot menu (⋯) at the end of the table headers, including:
- Reconcile All
- Reconcile Selected
- Reset All
- Reset Selected
- Remove All
- Unreconciled
- Remove Selected
Once all transactions have been reconciled, the ‘Complete’ button in the top-right corner of the screen becomes active (same as before), allowing you to finalize and close off the reconciliation.
Finance Module & Stakeholder Module
Automated Generation & Attachment of Reconciliation
When a receivable or payable reconciliation is completed, the system now automatically generates and attaches the reconciliation PDF directly to the associated brokerage record — no manual steps required.
Intelligence Module
Redesigned Broker Statements
Broker statements have been redesigned with a cleaner, easier-to-read layout that works for both individual broker offices and rolled-up brokerage views. Each statement now shows full policy-level detail — including a statement month on every line — replacing summary-only balances so you can see exactly what makes up your account. Statements are available in bothPDF and Excel formats, making them easy to share, review, and reconcile.
Product Module
More Control Over Product Language Availability
You can now define which languages each product supports. When a language is selected, products that aren’t available in that language are clearly flagged, so users always know what to expect. Existing products continue to work in English by default, with no changes required on your end.
More Control Over Premium Overrides
You can now choose whether a premium can be manually overridden on a given coverage, giving you tighter control over which coverages are allowed to carry a premium. This is helpful for any coverage that should always stay at zero, helping keep your numbers accurate and consistent. No changes are required on your end — everything continues to work as it does today unless you decide to use the new option.
More Control Over Fees During Quoting
You can now review and manage administrative fees directly while building a quote. Add a fee, adjust an amount, or remove one that does not apply — and note the reason for the change, all in one place. Fees stay editable throughout quoting and lock in once the quote is finalized, giving you flexibility up front and consistency between your quote and your issued policy.
Admin Module, Gateway Module & Policy Module
Activity Record for System-Generated Emails
The system now automatically creates an activity record every time a system-generated email is sent, giving you a clear, searchable log of outbound communications directly in the Activities tab. Users with permission can open the Resend modal to view the full email content and resend it to the original recipients with a single click. A record of who resent it and when is automatically captured for full accountability. To activate this feature, please submit a support ticket to have the SYSEMAIL activity onboarded for your organization. Once onboarded, navigate to the Admin Module to enable the Resend Email permission for the appropriate user roles.
Finance Module & Gateway+
Change Payment Method Workflow Update
Customer change payment method updates now happen in fewer steps. After you look up your policy, your payment details form appears right on the same page — no extra pop-up window required. Your customers will always see the correct payment form for your given payment gateway account automatically. No changes are required on your end; this update happens automatically.
Policy Module & Gateway Module
Configure to Collect First Payment on Same Day as Purchase
You can now configure policies to collect the first payment on the same day as the purchase even if policy is future-dated policies. This gives you greater flexibility in managing when initial payments are collected, without being tied to a policy’s effective date. This also applies to Gateway+. Please submit a support ticket to have this option onboarded for your account.
Add Broker Contact Directly
You can now add a broker contact directly when using the ‘Start New Quote’ action from an applicable Work List item. This option is available to users who have permission to add broker contacts.
Policy Module
Flexible Descriptions for Multi-Section Contracts
You can now set a separate printed description for each section of a contract, giving you finer control over how multi-section contracts appear on documents. Contracts that use a single description will continue to work exactly as before — no changes required on your end.
Stakeholder Module
Select Multiple Broker Codes & Broker Offices, Extended Comment Field
When adding or editing an attachment in the Stakeholder section, you can now select multiple Broker Codes and Broker Offices at the same time, making it easier to associate a single attachment across multiple offices and codes in one step. The comment field has also been expanded to give you more room to add context to your attachments (5000 characters).
